This 1:12 scale miniature replicates an American comb-back Windsor style settee, featuring a serpentine crest rail ending in a scrolling ear design. The armrests terminate in hand grips, and the turned, tapering legs are joined by an H-shaped baluster stretcher. The original design dates back to 19th century New England.
