The serpentine arched top rail surmounts both medallions and rounded ends curving downwards in an unbroken line to the enclosed arms. It also forms the frame of the medallion. The finger molded top rail is enhanced by a simple pierced cresting of foliated flowers. The front rail of the seat is also finger molded. The small cabriole legs have pad feet. This design is sometimes referred to as mirror back relating the oval medallion to a mirror. It is available in a walnut finish.
