Payment can be made with direct checkout using most major credit cards and Vintage Modern gift cards. We also accept Paypal. As always, your information is kept secure, and is not shared. If you pay through Paypal, your order is protected under their standard purchase protection for consumers.
If you must cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible. If the item has not been shipped, or the stock pulled from our warehouse, a refund will be granted. If the item has been shipped, or stock has been pulled from our warehouse, a refund will not be possible.
Customers in Texas will be required to pay sales tax at the current rate of 8.25%.
We do our best to make sure all items are updated on whether they are in stock or sold out. If your item is out of stock, you will be notified immediately with an option for us to request a special order of your item at no extra cost to you, or for a full refund.
Custom orders will require a 50% deposit upon finalization of the request. The remaining 50% will be due upon completion of your order. Your order will be listed and reserved for you only, so that you may pay the deposit, and again for the remaining balance once it is finished. Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable.
We are happy to offer payment plans for select items. To reserve an item, 50% of the total amount (including shipping & applicable taxes) is required to initiate a payment plan. We will work with you on a payment plan that best accommodates your needs. After the final payment is received, your order will be shipped to you.
We utilize the USPS for all of our shipping needs. We prefer shipping Priority Mail so that your order arrives quickly and safely. Insurance is included in the shipping price. For orders which include items categorized as "Dollhouse Supplies", please allow handling of 7-10 business days for your order to be shipped to you. We are always adding to our in-house stock, but some items might be on order from our warehouse. Again, this applies only to orders that include items categorized as "Dollhouse Supplies". If you need your order to arrive faster, please contact us before placing your order.
For all other items, please allow 3 business days for handling.
If you prefer your order to be shipped through another carrier, or by express, please contact us before ordering. The same also applies to large orders. We want to make sure you save the most possible on shipping costs. We will only charge you what we are charged to ship your order to you. If you would like to see if costs can be lowered, don't hesitate to contact us so we can see what we can do for you.
For our international customers, if you are interested in placing an order with us, please contact us first. We can see how much it will cost to ship to your location, and make it possible for you to place an order with us.
It's of utmost important to us that your order arrives safely. We make sure to pack every item securely, just as we would expect to receive them. We have yet to have an order damaged in shipping, but accidents do happen. In case of loss or damage, the insurance that is included in the shipping cost you pay will cover the cost of what is lost. Upon the conclusion of the claim, you can either request a reshipment of your original order, replacement with a like item if the original is out of stock, or a full refund.
All orders are wrapped with our custom Vintage Modern wrapping. It usually includes brown or white paper, ribbon/twine, and a decorative tag. If you would like yours wrapped for a special occasion, please include the request with your order. We will create a special listing that you can order that will cover the cost of the materials. We will take any request, from simple to elaborate, we have heard it all, and love adding that extra something special to every order.
Refunds are granted in the following circumstances:
- an item was listed as in stock but was discontinued before we could remove it
- an item is out of stock, and the order is canceled before the item is specially ordered
- an order is lost or damaged, and the insurance claim is resolved
- the wrong order is received
Your confidence in us is very important. If you receive an item that is different from the item listed, you will receive a full refund upon receipt of the item's return in the same condition it was sent to you.
Because all monitors are not the same, the color or intensity of the color of an item might vary slightly from its digital image. We take every precaution to make sure the photo matches the actual item. We will accept a return of the item if the variation between the product image & description and what you receive is obviously different. For example, if you order something that is red, and you receive something that is purple. Refunds will not be offered if you changed your mind, or if the item you were expecting matches the item pictured and described, but you made a mistake in what you needed. If any aspect about a product needs to be specific such as color or size, for example, please contact us first. We can confirm what you are needing will go with what you are interested in ordering, and if there are questions, we can provide additional photographs or video to make your choice an easy one.
We inspect every item, even on supplies to finish projects. We use a magnifier to check for scratches, chips, or dents. If we find any on the item you ordered, we will offer a replacement before the item is sent, which might require additional time; or a discount on a future order, or partial refund on the current order, if you are pressed on time.
If an item is out of stock, and not discontinued, we will special order the item for you requiring extra time to fulfill your order. This is unless you informed us at the time of your order that you need it by a certain date. Cancellations after an item have been specially ordered are not allowed, unless there is a waiting list and a customer on the waiting list makes a purchase. NOTE: If you change your mind after your order has been canceled, you will be placed on the waiting list and must wait for a customer to cancel their reserved order or for the item to be restocked. If your order cannot be canceled, you may choose an exchange or store credit instead.
Every order is insured to cover against loss or breakage. If an item is damaged or lost during shipment, we will first cry with you, and a second a claim will be immediately opened in order to provide you a full refund. Items are photographed extensively for this purpose before being shipped to you. If any claim is denied that is not at the fault of the buyer, we will provide a full refund upon receipt of the item in the same condition it was received. This has never happened, in fact, we have never had to open a claim, but we added this because we have tried to think of every scenario possible.
All requests for a refund or exchange have a limit of 10 business days.
We all experience buyer's remorse sometimes, and the last thing we want is to provide you with is less than excellent service. If an item does not meet your needs, but it was not misrepresented or damaged in shipment, contact us anyway. While we can't promise we can do anything since we are a small business, we will certainly try to go out of our way to make it right. If you're not happy, we're not happy.
