A French Louis XV style parlor chair & matching ottoman circa 1710. The chair features a wing back, adorned in its top with a carved floral crest. The carved wings, dedicated to providing some privacy and comfort to the sitter, curve down to the carved arms that scroll on the knuckles. The armrests have a curved serpentine shaped support. The chair has a broad seat with a loose cushion. The four legs area cabriole shape with whorl feet and the front of the chair frame are carved with a central motif to match the back frame. The chair measures 3 1/2 inches high x 2 I/2 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches deep is available in a walnut finish.
The ottoman is upholstered in a matching patterned fabric that is finished with a small piped edging. The loose cushion is a box design upholstered in the same fabric and decorated by a fine piping edge. The ottoman measures 2 1/2 inches high x 2 1/4 inches wide x 2 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish.
