Upholstered mid-18th-century French canape (settee) with a high back and shaped front, standing on small cabriole legs. The show wood frame around the seat, back and scrolled arms are decorated with a carved leaf motif. A fleur-de-lis is carved in the center of the back frame. The tufting on the back of the settee is a feature of furniture designed by Mariano Garc. The settee measures 6 3/4 inches wide x 6 inches deep and 4 inches high and is available in a fine white linen fabric.
